The Nanaimo Climate Action Hub has launched a heat pump affordability campaign. Help us make it happen by contacting your MLA.
Heat pumps are an essential tool in the fight against climate change. Having one in your home can mean the difference between life and death during extreme temperatures. Yet too many British Columbians are unable to afford them.
What you can do
Or choose one of the others whose ministry would benefit from affordable heat pump installations. They are:

- Visit the NCAH website for information.
- Request an appointment with your MLA Here is a sample email
- Send copies of "take the excess profit out ... " and the "seven common myths... " (on the NCAH website) to your MLA with your meeting request
- Follow up with a call to book an appointment
- Meet your MLA - ask them to contact a minister that they work with, or one that you think best in your circumstances, and urge that the minister look into the five solutions - making heat pumps affordable.
