Welcome to the NCAH Member Volunteer Platform (MVP) page!

In order to scale our work for more impact, we need your help. We’ve heard from many of you that you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work. We are excited to offer many ways for NCAH Members to become more involved in local climate action! No matter what you’re skills are or how much time you have to give, there’s something for you.

We have organized the work to be done by Working Group (WG)s. WGs will meet at least once per month (depending on current activity or initiatives), with opportunities for individuals to work on tasks on their own or within smaller groups. Each WG will be led by one of our talented Directors, who have experience in the area. Please take a moment to browse through the short descriptions below. There will be plenty of opportunity to work collaboratively across working groups, so we suggest choosing just one to start (pick your first choice).

Use the form in the bottom half of this page to sign up for a working group. Once you sign up for a working group the lead will be notified and you will be contacted with onboarding information. If you are more interested at this time in volunteering on a more casual, on-call basis, feel free to choose that option – we value any and all levels of involvement!

Reminder: you need to be a member to volunteer with us. If you haven’t become a 2026 member yet, sign-up here then come back to this page to choose your volunteer preferences.
