The Nanaimo Climate Action Hub invites you to participate in our next event in the Local Nanaimo Solutions to the Climate Emergency series, Down in the Dumps: Solid Waste Emissions Solutions.


This online event will be held on Tuesday, May 18th at 7pm. We will hear from Kirsten Gellein, City of Nanaimo Zero Waste Coordinator; Sonam Bajwa, RDN Solid Waste Planner; and Jane Hamilton, RDN Superintendent of Landfill Operations. Our aim is to learn about existing local systems and best practices so that we can be effective advocates for changes that will reduce waste emissions in our city. Everyone is welcome.
