VIU Open Letter

​We worked with the VIU Eco Club to write an open letter to VIU (Vancouver Island University) asking for the university to:

1. Declare a climate emergency
2. Join a climate accountability program
3. Incorporate UN Sustainable Development Goals
4. Establish a sustainability office
5. Strike a Senate committee on climate
6. Develop a climate course
7. Host a climate speaker series
8. Increase sustainable options on campus

There were a number of organizations and individuals that signed on to the letter. A link to the letter can be found here.
